1. Information We Collect

Xentinel collects information necessary to provide IT management services, including: account information (name, email address) provided during registration or OAuth sign-in via Google or Microsoft; machine telemetry data (hardware specs, software inventory, system health metrics) collected from devices managed through the platform; and service records (diagnostic logs, fix session history, support tickets).

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to: provide and improve our IT management and automated repair services; monitor and maintain the health of managed devices; generate service reports for clients; authenticate users and manage access; and communicate service updates and alerts.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on secure, dedicated infrastructure. Credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM envelope encryption. Session data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required to provide our services (e.g., authentication providers).

Xentinel integrates with third-party services including Google (authentication), Microsoft (authentication and M365 management), ConnectWise ScreenConnect (remote management), and Anthropic Claude (AI analysis). Each service is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Service records and machine telemetry are retained for the duration of the client relationship plus 90 days. Account data is deleted upon request or account closure.
